Sachin Bhartiya

Sachin is a Partner at Lighthouse. Prior to Lighthouse, he held senior positions at IL&FS, GE Capital and IDBI Ltd, where he led and managed more than USD 2.0 billion of transactions. At Lighthouse, Sachin leads the agri and consumer verticals and presently sits on the Boards of Bikaji Foods, one of the largest ethnic snack food companies in India; Dhanuka Agritech, the second largest agro-chemical company in India; and Indian Herbs, the largest herbal medicine and feed supplement company in India mainly focused on cattle and poultry. Sachin also on the Board of the Rotary Club of Mumbai, Nariman Point.

Sachin earned a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calcutta and is a Chartered Accountant.

Mukund Krishnaswami
Sean Sovak

Mukund is a Partner at Lighthouse, having co-founded the business in the mid-2000s. Prior to forming Lighthouse, he was an Associate at Lehman Brothers, Private Equity Division, and a Business Analyst in McKinsey & Co.’s Corporate Finance and Strategy Practice. He has worked extensively in all aspects of private equity including growth capital, LBOs, private transactions, recapitalizations, early to mid-stage venture capital investments and structured transactions, having over USD 1.5 billion of investment experience. Mukund is also a Co-Founder the Linneman Letter, a leading economic research publication. Mukund currently serves on the Boards of XSEED Education, a learning system that aims to transform rote memorization into activity based education and Miles Software, a financial services software product company for brokerages, portfolio management solutions, wealth management and treasury functions.

Mukund earned a dual, Bachelor of Science in Economics and Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science (summa cum laude) from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.


Sean is a Partner at Lighthouse, having co-founded the business in the mid-2000s. He is responsible for all aspects of sourcing, underwriting and managing portfolio investments, as well as team and organizational development. Previously, Sean was a Managing Director at W. P. Carey & Co., a NYSE-listed finance company, where he served in various capacities since 1994, lastly as Managing Director and Chief Acquisitions Officer, responsible for over $1.5 billion of financings to companies across industries. Sean serves as a Director to Kama Ayurveda, one of India’s leading luxury personal care brands, as well as Fabindia, India’s leading ethnic wear retailer and purveyor of other home and personal care products which celebrate India’s uniqueness. In his personal time, Sean is an Advisory Board Member to the Muktangan Education Resource Center, which provides world-class education solutions for students of low income households; he has also served on the Board of the New York Philharmonic and The American School of Bombay in past years.

Sean earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics (summa cum laude) from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Tarun Pande
Rochelle D'Souza

Tarun is the Chief Financial Officer at Lighthouse. Prior to Lighthouse he held several senior positions. Tarun was a Principal and Chief Financial Officer at Kubera Partners LLC; Associate at A. T. Kearney, Inc.; Chief Financial Officer at ConnectCapital Management LLC; and a Consultant at Arthur Andersen & Co.

Tarun earned a Bachelor of Commerce from the Mumbai University and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. He is also a Chartered Accountant.


Rochelle is a Principal at Lighthouse. Prior to Lighthouse, she was a Manager at SBI Capital Markets, Investment Banking Division, where she focused on equity capital market transactions.

Rochelle earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communication from Rashtreeya Vidyalaya College of Engineering (RVCE) and an MBA from S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research. She is also a CFA Level III candidate.

Ashutosh Sardesai

Ashutosh is a Vice President at Lighthouse. Prior to joining Lighthouse, Ashutosh worked at Avendus Capital in Investment Banking and focused on the industrials, IT/ITeS, and consumer sectors. Previously, Ashutosh worked at Tata Research, Design and Development Centre, and focused on research in programming languages.

Ashutosh earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Sardar Patel College of Engineering, Mumbai and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow.


Vivek is an Investment Manager at Lighthouse. Prior to joining Lighthouse, Vivek was an Investment Banker with Edelweiss, where he focused on mid-sized Indian corporations in the consumer and healthcare sectors. Previously, Vivek worked with Bajaj Auto in their R&D four wheeler division and helped design the first quadri-cycle from their stable.

Vivek earned a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Roorkee and has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta.

Previously, Yatin worked with Aarayaa Advisory Services, a boutique investment bank covering the FMCG and IT sectors.

Yatin earned a Bachelor of Commerce from Mumbai University and has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore. He is also a Chartered Accountant.


Yatin is an Associate at Lighthouse. Nitya is the Head of Investor Relations at Lighthouse. Previously Nitya worked as a Conference Producer for PEI Media (Hong Kong), organizing conferences and investor round tables across the private equity, private real estate and infrastructure asset classes in Asia. Nitya was also earlier a Research Associate for Linneman Associates, where she focused on researching and analyzing economic trends with a focus on the U.S. housing sector.

Nitya earned a Bachelor of Science in International Business Management and Economics (magna cum laude) from the University of Tampa and a Masters in Economics from the University of Warwick.

He is also a Director at Cyklop Russia. He earned a Bachelors in Physics and Philosophy from Yale University and an MBA from Insead.

Ravi Chaturvedi

Sarup is the Former Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of GE Plastics India and Former Director of the Reliance Industries Ltd. His area of expertise spans across manufacturing; business development & growth management; and strategic & operational planning.

Sarup is a member of the National Committee on Plastics in Agriculture (NCPA); the Chairman of Sub-Committee on Supply & Demand for Petrochemicals; the Chairman of the Bureau of Indian Standards - Sectional Committee of Plastics; and Chairman of the National Executive Council, PlastIndia 2000.


Ravi has several prominent, global leadership positions. He is a Former President of P&G and the Former Group Chief Executive of Jet Airways. He is a Consultant and Advisor to the President and Chief Learning Officer of the Nitto Denko Corporation, Osaka, Japan. Ravi’s area of expertise spans across the consumer and food industries.
